अगस्टीन “ओग” मन्दिनो द्वितीय का जन्म 12 दिसम्बर, 1923 को हुआ। वे एक अमेरिकी लेखक थे। उन्होंने सबसे ज्यादा बिकने वाली पुस्तक The Greatest Salesman in the World लिखी. उनकी इस पुस्तक की 5 करोड़ से अधिक प्रतियां बिकी और पच्चीस से अधिक विभिन्न भाषाओं में इसका अनुवाद किया गया है। वे Success Unlimited magazine के 1976 तक अध्यक्ष रहे और the National Speakers Association’s Hall of Fame के अधिष्ठापक रहे हैं। उनकी मृत्यु 3 सितंबर, 1996 को हुई।

1) मैं प्रकाश से प्यार करूँगा क्योंकि यह मुझे रास्ता दिखाता है, फिर भी मैं अंधेरे को भी सहता रहूँगा क्योंकि इसकी वजह से मैं सितारों को देख पाता हूँ

2) मैं अपने शिष्टाचार और गरिमा को सुधारने के लिये सतत प्रयासरत रहता हूँ, इसलिए कि वे चीनी की तरह हैं जिसकी तरफ हर कोई आकर्षित हो जाते हैं

3) आपको कभी पता नहीं कि कौन सी घटनायें आपको भाप बनाकर उड़ा दे और आप घर चले जाओ

4) हमेशा अपने से और अधिक बेहतर सेवा प्रदान करो, इससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता कि आप इसके लिये क्या काम करते हो 

5) एक छात्र का रवैया अपनाओ, कभी भी सवाल पूछने के लिए बहुत बड़ा मत बनो, कभी इतना मत जानो और मानो कि कुछ नया सीख न पाओ
